Day1 : From les Houches village to Miage refuge
Ascent to Voza pass through the alpine pasture and its beauful flowers. Look up at Bionnassay glacier before to reach Le Champel hamlet.
| Day2 : Miage refuge - Nant Borant refuge
Glacier de Miage as background then very nice viewpoint over Mont Joly and its valley. The second part of the day will be to join Notre Dame de la Gorge (ancient roman way) and Balme refuge where you'll sleep
| Day3 : Nant Borant refuge - Bonhomme refuge
You'll follow the ancestral trail (before the motoroads exists) to reach Italy. At Bonhomme pass, you'll discover the great mountain area nammed Beaufort : the land of cows and Beaufort cheese
| Day4 : Bonhomme refuge - Mottets refuge
Descend trough the pastures. A nice place overhung by a magic glacier. Its name : the glacier of the glacier. We'll meet cheesemakers and taste Beaufort and perhaps Serac cheese.
| Day5 : Refuge des Mottets - Rifugio Elisabeta
We leave France to Italy via Seigne pass. On the right hand, the limestones pyramids then Estellette and Lee Blanche glacier.
| Day6 : Elisabeta refuge - Maison Vieille refuge
In Veni valley : Combal lake under the huge and beautiful Miage glacier, then Grandes Jorasses. Wonderful day with pic nic pause at Checroui lake just in front of this sublime landscape.
| Day7 : Maison Vieille refuge to Courmayeur
Last day with Courmayeur as aim. You must not leave before to taste the italian gelati. A real delight
